Shivalik Hostel @ NITK Campus
Arrangements are being made at Shivalik Hostel inside the NITK campus to accommodate around 400–500 Alumni and family members put together. Shivalik is the newest boys hostel block on campus and is reasonably well maintained.
Shared Occupancy
Typically for Alumni who are attending single and are willing to share the room with other fellow Alumni. A great way to reconnect with peers and batchmates while reliving authentic hostel camaraderie.
Entire Room (3 Beds)
Typically for Alumni visiting with a Family or a group of 3 alumni who want the entire room exclusively for themselves. Provides privacy and dedicated space for your group.
Room Configuration Note: This is how a typical room looks — 3-seater with ceiling fan, natural ventilation, non-AC.

Typical 3-Seater Room Layout
Individual wooden storage wardrobes, dedicated study desks with ergonomic revolving chairs, dressing mirror, and sturdy wooden cots.

Wide barred window welcoming coastal breeze and natural light, individual overhead wall shelving, ceiling fan, and power outlets at desks.
Western Toilet Cubicle
Tiled private toilet cubicle equipped with Western commode, hand-held health faucet spray, hygiene tap, and exhaust ventilation fan.
Wash Basin Bay & Restroom Wing
Granite counter with dual under-counter wash basins and mirrors. Common bathroom and toilet bay has 5 toilets and 5 bathrooms per wing (12 rooms per wing).
